CANLink Aviation will acquire operating assets of the Moncton Flight CollegeBackFebruary 22, 2011
CANLink Aviation Inc. ("CANLink Aviation") and Ernst & Young Inc., acting in its capacity as Receiver (the "Receiver") of the Moncton Flying Club ("MFC") are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached whereby CANLink Aviation will acquire the operating assets of MFC. The agreement which is scheduled to close on April 8, 2011 further provides that CANLink Aviation will oversee the flying operations of MFC effective immediately. Full training activities resumed at the college this morning.
Mike Tilley, President of CANLink Aviation, is pleased that terms could be reached. “Moncton Flight College has a long history and great reputation in the domestic and international market. We thank MFC’s corporate customers, individual students and staff for their patience while this restructuring plan was put together over this past week. We feel that under new private ownership, MFC will be well positioned for future opportunities.”
